DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. – A 316-unit luxury apartment complex is in the works in the Atlanta suburb of Douglasville, a Jacksonville-based multifamily contractor announced this week.
Fansler Construction recently unveiled plans for Riverside Apartments, a 316-unit complex on Highway 92, about 20 miles west of Downtown Atlanta.
Atlanta real estate developer South City Partners is heading the project, the company’s second venture with Fansler Construction. The duo is also collaborating on a 303-unit complex in Venice, Fla., which is expected to be completed early next year.

The development will feature 14 tenant buildings with 208 one-bedroom units, 102 two-bedroom units, including six two-bedroom townhomes, and six three-bedroom units. Plans also include an expansive clubhouse and fitness center, resort-style pool, two standalone garages and a car wash. Atlanta firm Dynamik Design is the architect on the project.
Fansler Construction will break ground on Riverside Apartments later this month, with an estimated 22-month build out.
